Good toy overall, my cat plays with it every day.

Works well and keeps my cat entertained longer than most toys.

My indoor only cat is, surprisingly, an EXPERT birder. We lived in a home with a catio and learned the hard way we had to screen it in with finer mesh after she caught three birds in as many days.

This is not only an adorable plush, but as you can see, she was INSTANTLY drawn to it. It's small enough for an average sized cat to manage easily while being big enough to rabbit kick. It is pretty loud so I'd probably turn it off while I was sleeping. However, it has an auto-off function and quiets down after a few flaps and only starts up again if jostled around, so if your cats don't feel like playing it won't waste battery until they're ready. It has a soft mechanical sound, I don't find it particularly irritating and my cats don't find it off-putting at all. The plush faux fur and real tail feathers really got her attention and kept it, even after it stopped flapping and chirping she rolled around rabbit kicking it with joy! Easy to recharge and the battery seems to last a long time unless your cat plays with it constantly. I can't detect the catnip it came with, but my cat certainly does, as she was drawn to the back pocket instantly!

This cat toy is adorable and appears to be well-made. The charging process was fairly simple as well. If you have cats though, you know that they are huge critics with toys. You don’t know what they will actually approve of - and it often seems they favor the cheap, “isn’t actually a cat toy” options.
My cats were curious when I turned this toy on but they ultimately gave it the cold shoulder and walked away. I think it scared them? Anyways, if your cats are more adventurous and less critical than mine, this toy is worth a try.

Maybe my cats are weird or broken, but none of them really felt compelled to attack this adorably chipper bouncing little bird. The little bird comes in a cute box with its charging cable. The back of the bird opens up via a velcro closure for the charging port and the teeny tiny on/off switch. I like that the bird is touch activated, which means it won't continue bouncing around chirping maniacally without provocation. None of our adult cats (ages ranging from 2-7) showed much interest in this bird, much to my dismay. I wonder if our cats dislike the bird because they were all strays/feral who showed up on our property that we were able to bring in and adopt. Maybe a life out in the wild catching real birds makes these imposter toys an inferior offering? Tomorrow I am going to bring it to my parents and see if their kitten reacts differently and I will update my review accordingly!

*Update* The kitten loved the bird! He pounces on it, employs kill-kicks, bites, and attempts to mangle it constantly. I wonder if my cats are all just too old and can't be bothered to play with such a toy?

Cute flapping bird. Dirt outside. Velcro along the top back. Open to turn on. Starts automatically once you move the switch on. Flaps arms and makes noise. I can’t smell any catnip. My cats seemed more interested in chewing the feet than anything else. The chirping sound wasn’t real life. The bird rests after no movement. Comes with a charging cord, but it’s very short. Good size for any size cat, fits in your hand. Can be easily picked up. Adorable looking toucan bird.

The sound makes it more interesting than regular toys.

I bought the Petgravity Flapping Bird Cat Toy on a whim, and wow—my cat is OBSESSED. The lifelike chirping and flapping wings instantly grabbed her attention, and she’s been batting, pouncing, and carrying it around like prey ever since. It’s the perfect blend of stimulation and exercise, especially for indoor cats who need a little extra excitement.
Setup was a breeze—just charge it via USB, sprinkle a bit of the included catnip pouch inside, and let the fun begin. The touch activation is super responsive, so it only flaps when engaged, which saves battery and keeps my cat intrigued. I also appreciate that it’s soft and lightweight (5.1"), so even my smaller kitten can play with it comfortably.
Bonus points for durability: it’s survived some serious feline wrestling matches and still chirps like new. If your cat loves interactive toys, this one’s a must-have. I’m already considering getting a second one just to rotate in fresh prey!

This little bird is adorable! He looks even better than I was expecting. I like how the Velcro opening is right over the charging slot, I have another similar toy that I have to pull out the internal motorized mechanism partway and it’s a real pain. This one is positioned perfectly! The bird does take a pretty hard bap or even a small kick to start flapping. My kitten was a bit timid at first and didn’t smack him hard enough, even her shy rabbit kick wasn’t hard enough to get him flapping. Eventually she got more bold and was able to do it on her own but she kept looking at me to make it flap at first! My Siamese had no issues. I can’t say this is their favorite toy but it is amusing and well-made. I do wish it was a little more responsive so I took off one star
