Perfect size for my cat. He loves these. I do have to pick them up when he’s done playing with them because the corgi will destroy them!!
These are absolutely adorable and not only the cats love them.
-They came in very well and were cutely packaged in a “fish tray”.
-They came precharged so they were able to play with them right away. They held that first charge for a few days with intermittent turned on times.
-At first the cats were confused but once we added the catnip they were all over them. It even got the more reluctant tubby cats moving around.
-These can definitely take a LOT of abuse. Not only were the cats rough with them, one of the large dogs decided one was now hers. She is not a very aggressive chewer but she would bite down a bit on them and they still work just fine. She will even bring it over and let us know it needs charging. We keep one fish without the motor cause the cats will play with it regardless and use that one so we always have a fresh one ready.
We have tried a few motorized cat and even dog toys and these are the most used and well received.
Battery life is a joke, one of them lasts about 5 mins and the other two between 30 mins to an hour. My cats liked it but what’s the point when I have to keep recharging them though out the day.
Super cute packaging. My cats were fascinated but didn’t really play with them much—just watched. The humans in my house were quite amused though. I like that they are type-C rechargeable though the charge doesn’t last crazy long…still lasted longer than my cats’ attention spans.
This bag is a Godsend. 😍 My precious angel cat is an absolute NIGHTMARE to give oral medications to. He was diagnosed with Stomatitis & no treatments seemed to help. Our vet recommended a medication that can ONLY be given orally. This bag is AMAZING!!!😸 Izzy has no problems getting in it. Izzy has now been getting his oral medication daily & his screams-as-if-he’s-being-murdered are shorter & he sometimes even accepts the meds without issue. Honestly, I cannot recommend this bag enough if you have a precious angel who becomes a demonic hellbeast when its time for oral meds.
This is a 3 pack of small, flopping fish toys for cats. The set came with 3 realistically printed fish made of smooth nylon with padding, two packets of powdered catnip, and one standard charging cord. Each fish comes with the rechargeable motor preinstalled. They're a little longer than my hand. Simple instructions were included.
To charge the fish, a very short zipper on the bottom is opened to expose the motor. This is a small opening, and I had trouble finding the charging port. There is also an incredibly small black on/off switch. If desired, a packet of catnip can be tucked into the same opening, but the space is very small, and I had to force a packet around the motor.
While charging a red light shows. When charging is complete, a green light shows. Charging one took about an hour, and the documentation says one charge is good for about 150 movements. How long a charge lasts will depend on how long it's played with. Similar to other electronic toys, the fish switch off if not played with for a bit, and can be woken up by a nudge or poke. Unlike their larger counterparts, these are quiet.
Three of my cats showed immediate interest. The fish move along the floor as they flop, and this had to be stalked before interaction. Once they were comfortable with the movement, there was pouncing, bunny kicks, and a few bites. They are small enough to be carried in the mouth.
These were an immediate hit with my cats. I like that they're rechargeable and quiet. Having three reduces any fights over who gets to play. The only drawback is the nylon cover may be snagged with claws. I think the cost is appropriate, given the money saved by being rechargeable.
After almost a month, my cat decided to sit in it. The only issue I had is the length of the arms. You can see in the second picture that the frame isn't tall enough for my window. However, I temporarily fixed it with cardboard.
Very easy to assemble. Warm. Sturdy
Good value. My cat Rempe watched while I put it together and immediately jumped in and is fast asleep. I don't think he is gonna get out to let his sister try lol
Front second floor bedroom window. My cat will use it if I’m in the room with her. My Lil is a velcro cat. She likes to see me. The quality of use & softness is worth the money. 1 in my master & 1 in my guest bedroom. Me love.❤️
Our cats love this perch! It’s so soft for them and they can’t get enough of it. The only thing I was concerned about is one of the rods were damaged a little, so when trying to tighten it, it doesn’t tighten as thoroughly as the others. Seems to be holding though & no sign of weakness from it
I'm a bit torn on this because from the beginning, this has been an amazing toy for the cat. She's addicted to it now
The downside is that main wheel wore out in 1 month.
The machine spins using a pulley with some rubber. As cats play with this, the machine will continue to spin, even if the toy has been caught. This will cause the friction rubber to wear out until it's just plastic underneath with no grip. I'm not sure how to rig this but I might try replacing the rubber with rubber bands or soemthing
I've never trusted a cat bed that is held up by suction cups because I've usually had large rambunctious cats, so I was really excited to come across this window lounger. I live in an older apartment that has these odd awning window openings about 1 foot off the ground, but there is a lovely lush green yard outside the window with squirrels running around... sounds like a thing of beauty for a cat to sit in and take a snooze.
Putting the hammock on the rails and getting the bed/lounger together didn't take very long, the biggest issue was zipping the cover/hammock. Also my windows don't have a slim divot next to the frame either, so I put the metal edge over the window opening and because of this my pine frame doesn't sit on top of the window sill without being shimmed up by a 1/2" piece of wood underneath. I knew my window was a different type from pretty much everything else in the world before I purchased this, but I'm also a carpenter so I probably could come up with a solution to the differences... which I did.
Stability: well considering how I have this jerry-rigged hooked to the edge of the window frame, and leaning against those stupid useless base heaters that I never use under the window, it's actually pretty darn stable. Of course the cat I have now is one of the least rambunctious cats I've ever had.
Comfort: my boy seems to utililize this bed/lounger a bit, so it's comfortable enough for him.
Size: the sleeping area is about 12"x20" +/- and reasonably accommodates a 14# pear-shaped fluffball, your cat's experience may be slightly different
Possible Con is the rubberized (?) netting that holds the sleeper on the rails... I do have some possible concerns about the longevity of that which is why this only got a 4 star rating from me.
It is not strong! The movement is super weak that it does not even flop far. It just stays in same spot. NOT like how they advertised it! VERY disappointing.
This paired with an Amazon box! Priceless. My 8 month old cat went nuts. She played with it all day.
my cat got interested in it right away and keeps coming back to play. the movement and sound make it fun for her to chase, and it really helps when she’s bored. i like that it has both auto and manual options so i can join in sometimes too. it runs smoothly and doesn’t take much space.
overall, it keeps my cat entertained, moving, and happy. good quality for the price.
10/10
Great stability( theres no way for it to fall), way better than suction cup perch.
Can put it in any window
Enough space
She absolutely loves it!
I was constantly cleaning and changing filters. Now I just fill it and forget it! Best purchase I’ve made for my cat.
Sturdy, doesn’t quite fit under my bed (my bad for not measuring). Came in a HUGE box so we turned it into cat TV. 😄
