I am totally new to clipping my dogs claws. Up until recently I had never had a full grown dogs and a cat with claws. Our Dog, Bertie Bean, misunderstood our purpose and thought we were indoor climbing trees. After much bloodshed, scratches, puncture wounds, etc. we were so pleased to see the arrival of the UPS driver with this small but effective tool. I finally decided to buy clippers online and found these and I regret not getting these SOONER. We gave Sora his first nail clipping experience today and it went more smoothly than I thought it would have and these clippers definitely helped. I knew I really liked them right off the bat but didn't realize how much better they were than other brands until I miss placed them. These nippers are great. I had no idea that I could trim a dogs paws, so I read up on how to do it on a couple of dog websites. You have to start them young and work up to it by touching their feet a lot and extending their paw . They get accustomed to it. I’ve cut my 10 week old dogs nail twice. The nippers are the perfect size for the job and are very sharp. Quick work!
