During the holiday season I kept finding myself worrying about my dog because he doesn’t believe in portion control and would eat 2 days food in one day. This auto feeder is awesome and easy to get the hang of once you read the manual. And he didn’t become obsessed with so win win.
Excellent product. Highly recommend. It works as described. It is also highly entertaining to watch the cat leap from where it is when it hears the food dispense. There is often some sliding on the laminate floors involved as well.
I do love this. Our new kittens(11 month olds) are always hungry so we don't want to over feed them. This is great to have it feed at certain times. It is a little tricky to get the hang of setting the timer at first but after a few trys it worked out. The portions are small so if you have two cats might just need to adjust. I love how convenient this is for me now!
I love this feeder. It took me a little time to get the settings right but it is just awesome. I have one suggestion. It would be nice if the dish was sloped a little so that the food won’t be all gathered to the back. He doesn’t like to have his face against the feeder to get to the food. Just a suggestion. I love it and it has helped me control his food portions since he is diabetic. Thank you.
This is the most helpful. My dog no longer wakes me up at 7 am because he gets fed at 6 now. He does knock the tray out trying to find food, but he hasn’t gotten the top off yet. I’d much rather he sit and annoy a robot when he’s hungry instead of me!It’s helped him lose weight as well, he eats less since there’s no human error involved.
I purchased two. We wanted to be able to go out of town without having to find someone to come by twice a day. I have a dog that will over eat and then throw it up when he was too full. So we have had to limit his servings and feed him twice a day. These were the expensive ones and I read the reviews and decide that I wanted the reliability rather than the savings. Our sweet big boy Loves his new feeder. It took a bit to figure out just how much and how often to feed him. Just take your time to program it.
This is an excellent and dependable feeder. The food is dispensed via a "turning wheel" with individual portion sized "buckets". This means that, in my experience, little dog paws can't dig up into the feeder to get extra midday snacks like many of the automatic feeders I have seen in the past.The clock is accurate (although my cats will say this is a lie). This feeder is great. It is easy to setup and feeds on time. It is also very cute. The sleek cover and top latch are both nice to look at and also prevents the cat from hitting buttons or knocking the top off.
