Our Story
It started with two cats
and a lot of destroyed furniture
We're not a faceless mega-store. We're cat people who got tired of flimsy toys and started making days better — one happy cat at a time.
Hi, I'm Mia — one of the humans behind Purrfect-day.
Like a lot of great things, this whole company started out of pure frustration. My two cats, Miso and Biscuit, went through toys the way some cats go through naps — constantly, and without mercy. Feather wands snapped in a week. "Interactive" toys sat ignored under the couch. The one water fountain I bought was so loud that Biscuit refused to drink from it entirely.
I kept thinking: surely someone makes cat gear that actually lasts, that cats actually love, and that doesn't cost a fortune? When I couldn't find it, I decided to build it.
That line became our entire rule. Every toy, fountain, scratcher, and treat we sell gets tested first — usually by Miso and Biscuit, who are, frankly, brutal critics. If it doesn't survive their enthusiasm (or earn their attention), it never makes it onto the site.
What we actually care about
Cats first, always
Every product is chosen to solve a real cat problem — boredom, energy, hydration, scratching — not just to look cute in a photo.
Built to last
We're done with toys that fall apart in a week. If it can't survive a determined cat, we don't sell it.
Real humans behind every email
When you reply to us, a real cat person reads it. We'd genuinely rather help you pick the right thing than push the priciest one.
Where we are now
These days, Purrfect-day helps thousands of cat parents keep their kitties active, healthy, and just a little bit spoiled. But honestly, not much has changed since the beginning. We still test everything on our own cats. We still read every reply. And we still get a little too excited when someone sends us a photo of their cat mid-zoomies with one of our toys.
If you're new here — welcome. Your cat is lucky to have you, and we're glad you found us.
Warmly,
Founder, Purrfect-day · and staff to Miso & Biscuit
Or just reply to any of our emails — we really do read them.
